Duns Fair Share (DFS) is an entirely voluntary organisation based at 15 Murray Street in the centre of town. Currently we are engaged in three major areas of activity:

Duns Community Larder  The Larder is available when the café is open. Over the coming weeks and months we will build a stock of surplus food, donated by local companies and supermarkets. Please help us make good use of food that might otherwise go to waste.

Duns Social Café  The Café is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10.00 – 12.00 am. Please come along and enjoy a hot drink and snack in a warm and welcoming environment. In these difficult times the café will also act as a hub for helpful information regarding energy, health, money, accommodation etc.

The Larder is available when the Café is open and a minimum donation of £2 is required for up to 10 items. The Social Café is open to everyone and will operate on a ‘pay as you feel’ basis.

Duns Food Bank  Duns Fair Share will now have responsibility for the Food Bank which was established in 2013 by the Joint Churches in Berwickshire. The Food Bank delivers food and toiletries to clients throughout Berwickshire and is facing unprecedented levels of demand.
