What’s in the Larder this week?

We like surprises and this week as an extra from FareShare we have 24 packs of spreadable butter! These need to go tomorrow and won’t count as one of your fridge items. It does freeze. We also have a crate of very ripe bananas ideal for baking or smoothies. I didn’t know until recently that you can also freeze bananas for another day.

As you will see from the pictures we have lots of ripe tomatoes and some cauliflowers. The fridge is also full with a mixture of items. All this is before we collect the always generous donation from Duns Coop. Our freezer has Farne salmon, chilli and macaroni cheese.
