In the “Larder” this week Monday 20th October 2025
Instead of a packed fridge we have a packed freezer. We have quite a few packets of coated boneless chicken fillets. How about making some delicious wraps paired with one of the sauces from the shelf and some of the veg from the table. Also in the freezer are some lovely salmon fillets donated by Farne of Scotland, lovely paired with some potatoes from the table, with some carrots, cabbage or little tomatoes.
Finally in the freezer this week we have some lovely looking margarita pizzas, a meal in itself of great paired with some chips made from the potatoes from the table and maybe some mayonnaise from the shelf. In the fridge we have a couple of different Innocent fruit juices, a few larger bottles and small cartons ideal to go with a snack. Speaking of snacks, we have a bumper amount of mini pork pies. They need to all go tomorrow (Tuesday 21st)
On the shelfs we have a range of soups, pasta, passata, tins and condiments and more. Finally, we have a range of beautiful fruit and vegetables potatoes, cabbages, carrots, apples, pears…… possibly more to come. Come along and help save this food from going to landfill. £2 min donation for up to 10 items. Items from the shelf, fridge and freezer are limited, see signs or ask on of our volunteers if you need any assistance.
