In the “Larder” this week 6th April 2026

Calling all bakers and banana lovers. Come an help us stop all these bananas going to waste, we have so many.

Quite a nice selection in the fridge there are gluten free chicken nuggets, quiche Lorraine, spicy lentil soup and chicken roll that is perfect for a sandwich. We also have a selection of oat and soya milk.

The freezer also has some chicken nuggets, chicken drumsticks, roasties, tuna pasta bake, baked potatoes and duchess potatoes. Of course continue to get great donations of Salmon from Farne of Scotland.

Apart from bananas we have plenty oranges and plums. We still have some red cabbage, spring onion, garlic, baby potatoes, carrots, parsnips, turnip and the regular donation from Greenvale of lovely potatoes.

The shelfs have the regulars, cans of juice, pasta, shredded cabbage, pickled onions, spicy guacamole, spices, crisps, pot noodles and a selection of yummy Lindt chocolates.
