In the “Larder” this week 15th December 2025

It’s a good week for vegetarians this week, or anyone who just wants to try out some plant-based meals. “Fish free” goujons in the fridge, bean & beet burgers, McCain baked potatoes, Tesco roast potatoes and smashed pea and lemon bites in the freezer!  And, if you are feeling a bit more carnivorous, maybe just add some frozen doner kebab meat or some bacon from the fridge?

Lots of lunch options too – how about broccoli and stilton soup with a slice of hot toast and some Brussels pate and a slice or two of salami?  Or maybe use that bacon to make a great bacon butty with some COOP bread?

There’s also a good range of fruit and vegetables with some great looking butternut squash, red and yellow peppers, apples, bananas, carrots and cauliflowers on the table. And our usual range of shelf staples.
