In the “Larder” this week 28th July 2025

Once again we have a fantastic array of fruit and vegetables available. We have had large deliveries from The Hugo Burge Foundation, Abundant Borders and Fare Share. New in the freezer this week are some frozen baguettes and of course salmon from Farne. By using Duns FairShare you help stop all this amazing fresh food from going to waste. It is always very satisfying to see how much fresh food, including loose fruit and vegetables, we redistribute. An amazing fact is that: “If all apples, bananas and potatoes were sold loose, 60,000 tonnes of food waste could be saved every year. “ 

We are open on Tuesday and Thursday 10 till 12 noon.
