In the “Larder” this week 2nd June 2025

This week is volunteers’ week. Duns Fair Share is run completely by volunteers and we would like to thank our amazing team for all the valuable work they do.

The fridge has a really good mix of items including some lovely black grapes. We have lots of melons, galia and cantaloupe, aubergines, carrots, loads of lemons and a huge number of tomatoes. The bananas are very ripe and would be good for baked bananas, banana bread or smoothies. The extension dates for the lemon iced tea, microwave rice and lemon curd are written on the whiteboard at the side of the fridge. FareShare work with the manufacturers and then give us the dates so that everything is okay. 

The kettle will be on and we are open 10 till 12 noon Tuesday and Thursday.
