In the “Larder” this week 1st December 2025

In the larder this week: Carrots are back looking fresh and better than ever. On the veg table we have a new addition of some butternut squashes.  We also have some onions, plenty garlic and the last of a batch of cabbages. And a rather large Squash that will hopefully find a home in someone’s soup or pie. The bananas are looking good and ready to eat, still a lot of apple and some fresh plums.  Finally, someone take some swedes away  they are getting past best.

The fridge is pretty quiet this week with some coconut and strawberry water. However the freezer more than makes up for it.

2 Items from the freezer this week.  You can choose from salmon fillets, roast potatoes, McCain Frozen baked tatties (not boxed), bean & beet burgers, 1 large bag of diced carrots, frozen proper chips and the large Yorkshire puddings are back.

There is more, on the shelf we have plenty peanut butter, pickled cabbage, kit kats, tonic water, crisps, pasta and even some Christmas napkins.

One the free table we have a few random items a load of tic tacs, some cooking apples, hair dye and more…..
