In the “Larder” this week 25th August 2025

Abundant Borders and the Hugo Burge Foundation have once again excelled themselves by providing us with some beautiful fresh, local fruit and vegetables. Amazing. The freezer is full. Salmon from Farne and a selection of things from FareShare. The fridge has some extra items that don’t count as your 2. They are mushrooms and the family pizzas. The pakora and dip count as one item. The table is full of fruit and vegetables all waiting to be picked up. Let’s save all this amazing food from landfill.  The What Matters Hub will be at the cafe tomorrow (Tuesday).
