In the “Larder” this week 9th March 2026

The freezer is the winner this week. Bangers and mash, gyozas, bau buns, diced carrots, beef dripping Yorkshire puddings, roast potatoes and lovely salmon from Farne of Scotland.

Unusually the fruit and veg table is a bit scarce this week, but we still have our staple Greenvale potatoes, great for baking or alongside a meal. There are a few oranges, apples, onions, turnips, tomatoes and mushrooms. Hopefully there will be more next week, we know it’s a popular section with you guys.

In the fridge there is some soft cheese, barbecue sauce, apple crumbles and oat milk.

Our shelf is fully stocked with some different things including little jars of taco mix that look interesting. We still have pasta, onion gravy, cranberry sauce, peanut butter, Doritos, crisps, lindt wafers…….
