In the Larder this week June 24th 2024
The What Matters Hub will be at Murray Street this Tuesday. Last week we had a generous donation of some frozen Wiltshire Farm Foods meals. The freezer will also have salmon from Farne, smokey bean and veg chilli and Little Moons chocolate ganache ice-creams.
The fridge will have a variety of items. It is a real mixture this week.
Today we received a large delivery of leeks. I know it’s not soup weather so let’s get inventive and save them from landfill. On a more seasonal note, we have some tubs of nectarines, blueberries, peppers, mangoes and a pineapple.
As you will see from the pictures we have a number of celebration cakes. Ideal for a birthday. In addition, we have our usual wonderful range of bread and bakery goods, donated by the Co-op, and potatoes from Greenvale.
Thank you for your continued support. Come along, have a wee look, a cuppa and a chat. We are open 10am till noon, Tuesdays and Thursdays.
